Purpose of processing personal data

The register is used to manage the customer relationship and as a source of information for marketing, sales and other business decisions, as well as to enable the appropriate use of the rental equipment.

The purpose of processing personal data is based on Section 8 of the Personal Data Act. Personal data is processed within the limits permitted and required by the Personal Data Act.

Data content of the register

The register contains the following data:

Data retention period of the register

The personal data collected in the register will be kept only for the time necessary to allow Tales & Tents to fulfil the purposes described in this notice. In addition, some data may be kept longer to the extent necessary to fulfil and demonstrate the proper performance of legal obligations, such as accounting and consumer responsibilities.

At the customer's request, personal data relating to him/her may be removed from the register and the data will no longer be used for the purposes listed in the explanatory note.
For some of the data, the law imposes obligations to keep the data for a longer period of time, including for the following purposes:

Right of access and right to request deletion or rectification of data

Every person who has submitted data to the register has the right to inspect his or her own data stored in the register and to demand that it be corrected or deleted, in accordance with Section 26 of the Personal Data Act. The request is made by e-mail to the e-mail address of the contact person.

Other rights related to the processing of personal data

An individual has the right to object to the controller processing data relating to him or her for the purposes of direct marketing, distance selling or other direct marketing, market research and opinion polling. If an individual wishes to object to such activities, he or she may do so by contacting the controller by e-mail.
