With Garmin's new inReach MINI 2, you can stay in touch with those closest to you when mobile networks are down. All this is available in less than 100 grams, or 99 grams, to be more specific. The ultimate travel companion for trail runners and light hikers or anyone hitting the longer trails!

 

The paid package allows you to send an unlimited number of pre-set messages with location, a SOS function, weather forecasts and send SMS messages according to the package, even when the mobile network is down. Without an additional subscription, you can plan routes and use navigation. 

 

Suitable for trail running, light hiking and whenever you go outside the cellular network. The GPS device has a battery life of up to 14-30 days and weighs less than 100g.

 

You will be instructed on how to use the device at the time of rental and will be asked to provide preliminary information before the rental. Two inReach MINI 2 models are available. A larger screen option is availabe, the Garmin GPSMAP 66i, that also has the  inReach.
